Tool and Die Maker
Express Employment is currently hiring a Tool and Die Maker for one of their clients. The Tool and Die Technician will do the following:
Analyzes specifications
Lays out metal stock
Sets up and operates machine tools to fabricate tool and die components and repair or maintain simple metalworking dies
Cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinist's handtools.
Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to hold, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
